The Delta Force FAV (Fast Attack Vehicle) or Desert Patrol Vehicle is an American off-road vehicle that entered service in the early 1990s. The truck is powered by a single 2-liter 200 HP engine. The car accelerates to around 100 km / h.

The Desert Patrol Vehicle was developed and put into production in factories Chenowth Racing Products as a lightly armored vehicle with the highest possible maximum speed and considerable off-road maneuverability. Originally, vehicles of this type were to be part of selected American infantry units, but along with the large-scale driving of HMMWV (Hummer) vehicles, FAVs were directed to the equipment of special forces - for example, Delta Force. They have now been largely replaced by Light Strike Vehicles (LSVs), but are still in service. The vehicles can carry various types of light weapons, such as the 7.62 mm M2 or M60 machine guns or the Mk.19 grenade launcher. The Desert Patrol Vehicle was used in combat, among others, during the Gulf War in 1990-1991.
