Mini World A7279a Set N1 for PZL.37 Łoś 1 Vickers F + 2 Szczeniak

Machine gun wz. 37 (the so-called Szczeniak) is a Polish 7.92 mm air machine gun from the World War II period. The first prototypes of this weapon were made in the period 1935-1937 and serial production started in 1937 and lasted until 1939. In its course, about 340 such weapons were created for the Polish aviation. Theoretical rate of fire was 1100 rounds per minute. The weight of the proper weapon is 7 kilograms. Machine gun wz. 37 was developed by Eng. Wawrzyniec Lewandowski, and its production was carried out at the State Rifle Factory in Warsaw. The new weapon was largely based on the Browning wz.28 machine gun, and was adapted for use in military aviation. In the course of the changes, the rate of fire of the weapon has been significantly improved, and therefore the magazine capacity of the rifle has also been significantly increased. It is worth adding that the "Puppies" were used in combat during the September campaign in 1939 on such planes as PZL P.37 Łoś and LWS-3 Mewa. They were also installed on the prototype PZL P.46 Sum.
