Toyota AA is a Japanese passenger car that was produced from 1936 to 1943 in the city of Koromo, Japan. In total, about 1,400 copies of this car were made. The AA model was the first mass-produced car in the history of Toyota Motor Corporation. It was created on the basis of the prototype A1 model built in 1935. It was offered as a 4-door sedan, and its exterior and exterior styling resembled that of the Chrysler DeSoto Airflow. The body and frame of the car are made entirely of steel. The power unit was a 6-cylinder Toyota Type A 62 HP engine mated with a 3-speed manual gearbox. The engine was an exact copy of the unit used in Chevrolet vehicles at the time. Based on the AA model, a convertible version called AB was also created, which was made in the number of 352 copies.
